Qigong and Yin Yoga ‘Winter Reset’

Winter can be a challenging time on Cape Cod. It’s not unusual to feel restless, depleted, and unmotivated. We need a variety of holistic practices to help adjust our energy levels.
In this class, we’ll use Qigong movements and yin yoga postures to help release physical tension, harmonize your ‘Qi’ (energy), and balance the mind and body.
Qigong is an ancient system of wellness that combines movement, breathing, and focused intent. Pronounced ‘chee-gong’ and roughly translated as ‘energy work’, it’s been widely taught throughout China for thousands of years and gaining popularity here in the West.
Come and experience this beautiful combination of movements for yourself. You may find, as I have, that adding energy work to your yoga practice can produce some powerful results.

Set aside an afternoon to engage in energy practices to clear away stagnancies and strenthen your ‘Qi’. Prepare to immerse yourself in yin yoga, somatic movements, qigong and meditation led by Ingrid and Dawn overlooking beautiful Peter’s Pond.
